Library membership
Library cards are available at no charge to residents of New Brunswick. You need a library card to borrow materials, use public access computers and access online resources. You may also obtain a library card if you live outside New Brunswick but in an area next to an existing library (you must provide proof of address.)
Anyone can visit a library or look at materials in a library even if they do not have a library card. For more information about library membership please refer to Policy 1051.
Library fines and fees
Materials borrowed on an adult public library card (a card issued to a person that is 13 years or older) will be subject to library fines for overdue materials. Library fine rate for overdue materials: 15 cents per item, per day, to a maximum of $3 per item. For more information about library fines and fees please refer to Policy 1055.
Check-out period
Adults and juvenile cards can check out a maximum of 50 items and place 10 holds from the provincial collection. The loan period for these cards is 3 weeks with a possibility of 2 renewals (if there aren’t holds on the item being renewed). Among the 50 checkouts, 15 local DVDS can be borrowed from the Campbellton Centennial Library collection.
TECHNOLOGY
Computers & Internet
The library has 11 public computers with Internet access, as well as free WiFi throughout the library. Customers who make use of these services must agree to follow the Library’s Internet Access Policy.
Printing
Printing is available from the public computers. A photocopy machine is also available.

ROOM RENTALS
Study rooms
The library has two study rooms that can be reserved for a maximum of 3 hours per day. You can book these study rooms in person at the circulation desk, or by phone, and can do so no longer than one month in advance. If you are later than 15 minutes and do not inform library staff, your booking will be cancelled.
Conference room
The library has a conference room with a SmartBoard which can be accessed during the library’s opening hours. All interested parties need to fill out and submit a rental agreement to the circulation staff in person.
