Public libraries, libraries for all
As a public library, the Campbellton Centennial Library is for all, no matter their age. Consult the section tabs for more information on our services for various age groups.
An extended local patronage
We also serve the local population with our programs, this includes residents from Quebec (Pointe-à-la-Croix, Listuguj, Matapedia…).
A shared provincial collection
Everyday we receive books from around the province, and everyday we send some of our books on to other libraries. In this manner we serve the population of New Brunswick at large, no matter the size of their local library”s collection.
In English and in French
You can request service in English or in French, it’s your choice!
Individual, community and organizational patrons
Although most of our patrons are private citizens, others patrons use the library as part of their work, such as child care centres and teachers. By registering with us, these and other exceptional cases can benefit from additional advantages, for example a higher number of maximum check outs and longer borrowing periods.
Library patrons within the library and without
We try to encourage patrons to visit the library so that they can explore the treasures located on our shelves. You’ll find that our location is a wonderful, comfortable place to read, socialize, and study. However, to those patrons for whom it is more of challenge to come to us (children in child care centres, school classes, seniors, etc.) we will find ways to come to you. Speak with us for more details at 506-753-5253.
