The Campbellton Centennial Library is a member of the Biblio-Santé initiative. The Biblio-Santé program is an information service for health system users and caregivers coordinated by the Québec Public Library Association. More than 780 public libraries and health libraries across Québec participate in this initiative.

Biblio-Santé consists of a series of 15 thematic booklets that inform health system users and caregivers about various illnesses as well as the issues that they face. Each booklet provides a list of organizations, a selection of relevant websites, as well as reading and film suggestions. All information in these booklets has been selected, analyzed and validated by trained librarians.

The Healing Books Project aims to provide people with self-help and therapeutic books to help them deal with mental health and life issues. The collection also has resources for supporters of people suffering with mental illness and/or addition. Look for titles in the catalogue marked with a purple butterfly.

The Healing Books Project was made possible through Horizon Addictions and Mental Health Services.
